A pressure gauge, flow regulator knob, humidifier bottle, nasal cannula, surgical mask, adapter, and cylinder are all components of an oxygen cylinder. An oxygen cylinder is used in this manner:
- With the use of a wrench, turn the cylinder’s valve on.
- After the valve has been opened, check the gauge for pressure and make sure there is enough oxygen in the tank.
- Using the flow regulator knob, adjust the flow to the rate advised by the doctor.
- It’s ready to use once you’ve attached the tubing and nasal prongs and adjusted the nasal prongs for a suitable fit.
